Every year, Remembrance Day gives us the opportunity to honour our veterans. This year, November 11th takes on a special significance in Canada’s military history as it marks the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended the First World War. Of the 650,000 Canadian and Newfoundland men and women who participated in that war, over 170,000 were wounded and more than 60,000 never returned home.

From October 16 to 19, the Royal Military College Saint-Jean (RMC Saint-Jean) had the honour of hosting 16 officer-cadets from Colombia, South Korea, Georgia, Greece, the Netherlands, the United-States, and Sweden for the occasion of International Richelieu Week. Accompanied by students from the RMC Saint-Jean, the visitors participated in a multitude of activities highlighting Canadian heritage.
